The Business Operations team is a centralized team that performs a variety of functions for SPS to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
The Business Operations team provides support for areas such as human resources, finance, procurement, compliance and risk management, process improvements, allocating resources such as budgets and technology and overseeing all operations of the unit, including The Dubois Center in Uptown Charlotte. Keeping SPS on track since 2020 so that all SPS staff can focus on their specific duties.
If a resource requires funding, requests are submitted directly to this team for review, approval, and processing. You will collaborate with this team for the processing of all procurement requests, legal guidance, and human resource-related matters.
From travel to answering questions on University policies and procedures – we make sure each teams budgets are balanced, orders are placed and assist with any operational needs that may arise. Please come to us with questions or concerns and let us assist you in making the best decisions for your team up front.
We Manage the Uptown Facility
We manage all aspects of The Dubois Center's day to day operation, whether it's academic course scheduling, event/venue management, space management/utilization, or guest/client relations. Regardless of the nature of the issue, we are here to help (or at the very least point you in the right direction to find the help you need), and welcome all opportunities to collaborate.
