Faculty Development
The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) strengthens the faculty through events, workshops, and instructional resources that promote teaching excellence and innovation. From AI tools to active learning strategies, educators improve their practice and create meaningful learning experiences with CTL.

Charlotte Online
UNC Charlotte offers 80+ online degrees, certificates, and bootcamps designed for flexibility and real-world impact. Through strategic program design, enrollment support, and coordinated student services, the School of Professional Studies (SPS) ensures every online learner has the tools and guidance needed to succeed—wherever they are.

Summer Term at Charlotte
Each summer, over 13,000 current, incoming, and visiting students enroll in 1,500+ online and in-person courses in order to catch up, get ahead, or try something new. The School of Professional Studies (SPS) coordinates the entire effort—from scheduling and faculty support to payroll and problem-solving. It’s a campus-wide lift, and SPS is proud to help make it happen.

Workforce Development
The School of Professional Studies (SPS) bridges the gap between education and industry through customized training programs and strategic learning partnerships. From executive education to targeted upskilling, we support businesses in developing talent, closing skill gaps, and creating lasting impact. Youth Programs & Summer Camps
UNC Charlotte offers year-round learning experiences for students in grades 1–12—from summer enrichment camps and academic workshops to SAT/ACT prep and STEM programs. The School of Professional Studies (SPS) supports the planning and coordination of these opportunities, helping create engaging, skill-building experiences that spark curiosity and foster lifelong learning.
